A teenage gunman kills four people at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon, before a bystander stops him, and the Trump administration weighs revoking Rep. Ilhan Omar's citizenship.

Three students, ages 5, 8 and 11, and a teacher were killed Thursday at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, and a 7-year-old student and a second teacher were critically injured. Police say a community member saw the 16-year-old suspect enter the school, pursued him and shot him before officers arrived.

The Wall Street Journal reports the Trump administration is exploring whether to revoke Omar's citizenship after federal agents searched her Washington residence; federal authorities have confirmed an investigation but have not alleged wrongdoing, and Omar calls the action politically motivated. The Justice Department also sued California, seeking to block roughly 20,000 suspected noncitizens on the state's voter rolls from having their mail-in ballots counted.
