Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed clash in Michigan's final Senate debate, and a polling firm admits it fabricated surveys weeks before the midterm elections.

Rogers and El-Sayed sparred over immigration, health care, the SAVE Act, court expansion and El-Sayed's past calls to defund the police, and El-Sayed rejected allegations of family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Wedgewood Polling, whose surveys favored several progressive Democratic candidates, admitted most of its numbers were fabricated as what it called an experiment to expose weaknesses in the polling industry; the American Association for Public Opinion Research condemned it as a serious violation of professional ethics. The Justice Department also announced the indictment of Virginia state Sen. L. Louise Lucas on racketeering and related charges tied to her cannabis business, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has directed Israel's security services to bring down the Iranian regime.

John Daniel Davidson, senior editor at The Federalist, argues that much political polling is designed to shape opinion rather than measure it and breaks down the Michigan debate. Constitutional attorney KrisAnne Hall, founder of Liberty First Society, weighs in on a federal judge quashing DHS subpoenas for 17 million commercial driver's license records, Washington state's law on transgender runaways, Supreme Court expansion, child protection in churches and her article "America Is Not Immune to the Fate of France." Victory News Tonight also covers SNAP and marriage fraud prosecutions, Trump's South Carolina rally, a new migrant caravan and a 30-year sentence in the 2022 San Antonio smuggling deaths.
